Terms and Conditions:

By purchasing our Ohio Notary Public training program, you acknowledge that simply purchasing the class does not guarantee that you will obtain a Notary Public commission in Ohio. To become an Ohio Notary Public, you must meet the minimum requirements set by Ohio law. These requirements include, but are not limited to, being 18 years or older, completing the 3-hour education program, passing the associated exam, obtaining a clear background check with no disqualifying offenses, and meeting one of the following requirements:

  • A resident of Ohio
  • An attorney who practices in Ohio
  • A notary from another state for at least a year, in good standing, and fulfilled all education requirements (as of 12/29/23)

It is your responsibility to ensure that you meet all of these requirements before applying to become an Ohio Notary Public. Failure to meet these requirements will result in the rejection of your application, and we will not be liable for any resulting damages or losses.
